Ok, first let me first apologize for this post not being exactly in the right area. I have been a member for a month or so and I know it might bug some people that I chose to place this inquiry here, but it made sense to me.

I am in DIRE need of help here and I hope that I get a lot of it. I am totally clueless about the area other than visiting my boss in manayunk and hopping from hotel to hotel around the area (conshy to lansdale). I need to be in a place by June 9, so I really can't dick around any longer.

I am wondering if any input could be gotten regarding a cheaper (larger place) alternative to living in Manayunk but with some of the same feel and lots of people my own age (I'm 23-24).

My dream would be to find a 2br condo or house (its just me by myself) but I could deal with anything if the price is right. Honestly I would like to spend no more than $1000 a month before utilities and more than anything its important to be in an area where a lot of kids my own age reside as I don't know anyone and desperately need to meet people. (I'm not as sad as that just sounded ha). Anyways I hope I get more than a few views and way more replies, so please help me out, I have 2 weeks to figure this out and I need all the assistance I can get.
