Default Hidden River Kayak Tours

Has anyone done the Hidden River kayak tour in Manayunk? How long is it? Where does it go? Was it worth the money? Are there other kayaking opportunities in the area?

There are kayak tours that set out from the dock along the river park below the Walnut Street bridge - the same dock where the cruise boat to Bartram's Garden leaves from. I believe those kayak tours are also run by Hidden River. Presumably they go up as far as the Water Works, and perhaps down to Bartram's.

Check out www.philacanoe.org -- it's the local canoe & kayak club. Great lessons for beginners, or if you want to learn more, or want to learn white water. Then you can use club boats and go on their trips.
