Default Selling Used Books

Hey all,

I just went to the new book store in the Andorra Shopping Center. It's packed to the rafters - I definitely recommend checking it out. Unfortunately, because they are an overstock company, they only sell books, and don't accept used books for cash or credit. With all the new books I just got, I'm looking to get rid of a bunch of older ones.

Does anyone know anywhere around here to sell used books?

Thanks in advance!

The Book Trader in Old City is a good spot for buying/selling used books. It's on 2nd st, right off Market.

Harvest books all the way in Fort Washington will take them, and I hear a Crooked Mile in Mt. Airy takes books too.

Russakoff's is a good place to take used books. It's on 10th Street a few doors down from Locust. The only thing is I don't think you get cash for them. You can either get a credit slip or swap for their books.

Russakoff's has an excellent selection by the way, and the owner is very nice.

Default Andorra Book Store - Love it!

I've been there 3 times and left with a stack of books each time. They really do have great prices - waaaaaaaaaay less your typical book store. They are only there until August so I suggest everybody check it out.

As for selling your used books, how about half.com? I've sold books on there (especially text books) and it's been fairly easy. Type in the ISBN number and the condition of the book. It's super easy and if you already have an ebay account, you're already 1/2 way there.

Happy reading!
