Hi -- I am looking for houses in the Manayunk/Roxborough/East Falls areas and saw one last night by the Leverington Court Apartments. The street and general area seem nice, but I wanted to see if anyone could tell me more about the area in terms of crime/quality of life.

I know the block you are referring to. That is actually the first of those 8 twins that has gone up for sale since 1997. And I believe it's for sale now because the owners were very old - one passed away and one has health issues and cannot live there any longer.

Lots of families, all ages of kids - despite being on Leverington Avenue, they have huge yards and a common drive outback. So, when you are outback, you are really off the beaten path.

I'd suggest taking a tour and seeing for yourself. You may be pleasantly surprised.
