We are currently fostering two dogs for the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society.


We've had them both for about two months. These guys are so CUTE!

Reno (AKA Pinot, Peanut, Squishy-Wuishy) is a boxer/pit mix and loves to play fetch! He gets along with all other dogs and always has a blast at the dog park. He is deaf and has learned hand signals. He is very aware of his surroundings, to the point where you can't really even tell that he's deaf. He rarely barks, and sleeps so soundly, you have to wake him up. When you do, he looks up at you like, "Time to get up already?" Reno loves to lay on the couch ON you and will give you little kisses. He also takes treats very gently. He's got all this jowely-ness around his mouth--hence the name Squishy-Wuishy.

Oliver (AKA The Smalliver, Ollie Smallie) is a little pit, found so emaciated in a park, he was on death's door. He is blind in on eye--but it doesn't bother him. This guy is so sweet! He loves to play, play, play! He loves playing with other dogs and will follow you around like your best buddy. He loves to chew bones and play tug-of-war. He leaps and bounds like a horse when he runs. He also used to live with a cat--so kitties are ok with him.

Both dogs are house-broken, crate trained, know sit and stay and eat on command. They are great with everyone they meet! We would love them to get adopted together since they are like best friends--but our biggest goal is to get these guys adopted into the great home they deserve! Could that home be yours?

The adoption fee is $40, which goes to support the PAWS/PACCA shelter!
