Whats the deal with the "Shift Supervisor" (middle aged black male) who works the register at Rite Aid on Ridge Ave next to the ACME? You get No hello, No thank you, he's just a miserable ***** and he is extremely slow. Anyone else have any issues with him?

He is lousy! I go there frequently due to it being only a block from my house. He gives people dirty looks and has zero class. One time, he was just standing there and I had to ask him to finish ringing me up. He had stopped midway!

He looks like a substance abuser, you don't act that spacey without having some type of issue.

I was in there about a week ago. Line was incredibly long, over 10 people. One cashier. She was ringing up the manager (older man) and when she was done with him, asked him to help behind counter. You could sense the relief of eveyone in line - we all assumed there would be two registers open at that point. Well, imagine our surprise when he took over her register and she walked away.

OK...I didn't want to jump to any conclusion, maybe, just maybe she had a bathroom emergency or something - right? Well, I can't even put into words how angry I was when I left the store and saw the cashier on her cell phone chit-chatting away, smoking a cigarette!

Call 1-800-RITEAID and give the store location and make a complaint.
They will take care of it.

The place is run down and dirty. Don't bother with it. Go somewhere else!!

I go there because its the closest 24-hour pharmacy that i know in the area...any other suggestions?

And unfortunately, a lot of people don't have a choice. The City of Philadelphia's prescription plan (for employees) requires that they use Rite Aid pharmacies for retail services. It's either Ridge Ave or Andorra for employees in Roxborough.
