Default Fundraiser for slain policeman at The Ugly Moose

I was at The Ugly Moose last night and saw a flyer posted on the door that they are having a fundraiser for the slain policeman tomorrow night (Sat, May 10). They're going to donate half of all their sales to the trust fund for his family.
Just thought I'd post this in case people want to help out.

I appreciate your posting this; after our Thursday liturgy at Saint Miriam, we always walk across the street to the Ugly Moose and treat anyone who is with us at mass to dinner. It is a wonderful time, and they are always so attentive and nice to us there.

We did notice the poster and we honored the request. As the priest who served as Chaplain to Officer Cassidy's family a few months ago, it pained me to think of another family going through the same.

If you missed the event, and still wish to give, here is the info:

The Stephen Liczbinski Family Memorial Trust Fund:

Police and Fire Federal Credit Union
901 Arch St.
Philadelphia, PA 19107

I appreciate how caring this community is toward one another. I wish you peace and God's blessings.

Father Jim+
