Ten years ago a very good and cheap electrician told me $100 per device (outlet, switch, etc.) Copper wire is now to the moon, and labor is more expensive too, but I don't keep up with retail electrical prices. If it were plumbing I would know better. My attitude is that if the guy is honest and good I trust him on the price. If I catch someone highballing me on prices I ban them from working for me, which is pretty big in this slow construction economy we are living in now. I think that Kearns (906 5620) just laid one of his guys off because he is slow, because the guy just called me today saying he wants to do carpentry work for me (even though he is an electrician; odd).
