Let me try again. Not sure what happened, I posted twice somehow, then went to delete one, and lost both. I dunno.
I got towed for parking overnight at Ivy Ridge on Friday night. Cost was $160, and I had to hop the R6 to Spring Mill and walk a mile to get my car back (other option was Conshy and taking the bus).
There are signs everywhere saying that the lot is for SEPTA patrons only, and overnight parking was not permitted, so I can't claim ignorance. It's a bit frustrating, though, that they started enforcing that without any advance warning, at least without any warning that I was aware of. I know I wasns't the only one taking advantage of the lot; there were at least 30 cars parked overnight most nights prior to this weekend. I suppose I should have expected increased attention there after the recent repaving. I miss my reliably-open dirt lot :-(
Anyway the tow company told me they're towing most nights at Ivy Ridge now. I don't know if I believe that, but I'm not going to tempt fate.
Just thought others in the neighborhood could use a warning.
