I never had the shoprite experience, but I did have the gorgas park experience last year when I took my son to watch a little league game at the field. We all heard her--the entire field of about 50 people--before we saw her coming over the hillcrest. She was having a normal conversation with her son-- but she was screaming (tends to be a Roxborough thing as well). We all heard her as if we were on the phone with her.

It was awful.

That woman is a nutjob.
