They're going up fast because Winther Investment (who owns the Dobson Mill Site) refused to hire union contractors to develop the site citing cost and time concerns. If you recall, about 1 year ago, the unions set up their big rat under the Route 1 bypass and the "protest" was on.

Winther stuck to their guns, the unions eventually found another project to protest, and the townhouses are going up at a very nice rate and I'm told people will be moving in before end of the year.

Also, in my opinion, I think they look very nice for rental units.

What is the deal with the Big Rat -- just saw it on rt. 70 in voorhees, NJ. I saw two guys sitting in lawn chairs smoking cigars holding signs at their feet but could not see what they say. was in front of a construction site i think for a new bank.

Don't tell me the people that do this are getting paid with our tax money.

Why can't the people building the on the site, call the cops and get them off of their property -- going to drive there again tomorrow and yell out the window "GET A JOB."

No, they are union members. They aren't paid by tax money.

Because they have the right to protest/picket.

Why not stop and discuss the matter with them instead of yelling out your window when you drive past?
