My house just went under contract and the termite inspector (montco pest control) found some termite damage around my garage. The damage is extremely minimal - 1 piece of wood. Anyway the inspector wants $875 to treat the house with termador injections. I was wondering if anyone know of a company that might be more reasonable priced. Montco actaully said they would match any price that I found, which makes me think they know they are on the high side. Thanks for any input.

how may sqaure feet is your house? I just went through this and that sounds like a good, price depending upon the size of your house.

The house is 2000 square feet - it's a townhouse in Cinnamon Hill

The national companies will charge you minimum $800 - 1000+.

My neighbor (in Center City) used Absolute Termite in South Philadelphia. Same situation, and she told me that she paid $500. I cannot get anyone there to return my phone calls, though. Given that the termites were on the block, I wanted to have a preventative inspection, but I guess I'll go with someone else. (NOT a national company with a "free" inspection, though.... not going to deal with their scare tactics.)
