Does anyone know of any roller hockey leagues/pickup games in the area? I know there are a few outdoor rinks in the Man/Rox area but I never see anyone playing on them.

I play in this league (not hockey) & they have hockey down at Venice Island. According to the website, the hockey league kicks off tomorrow, so you should stop in the Bayou on Main or call ASAP. They always have a couple girls with laptops available to sign you up upstairs at the Bayou.

Thanks....I checked this out and the MSSC only offers floor hockey. I'm looking more for an inline hockey league in this area

Marple Sports Arena in Broomall has tons of leagues. Only about 20 minutes away from Manayunk. Spring season already started, but summer season starts in July. Awesome place and good hockey. Website is www.marplesportsarena.com

Sunday nights around 7pm we have a pick up game, at Venice Island(heard they are resurfacing the rink?) usually have about 12-15 people. Anyone is welcome to come, although that is about the max amount we could play with before people start bitching about not playing enough. Also most of us aren't good.
