I'm looking for a hair salon in the area where I can just walk in without an appt. to get my hair trimmed. I have long straight hair that I just need trimmed a few inches every few months or so. No styling or anything else esoteric involved. Just snip-snip-snip straight across the back.

I would like to be able to just walk in without an appointment and get this done.

I haven't been on the inside of a salon since I was a little girl, and the thought of going into one is a bit daunting.

I want to find a place that isn't always mega-crowded. A place where I don't have to wait a long time, and they will do it inexpensively as well.

Anyone know of a place like this?

I'm willing to go out of the immediate neighborhood too.
