i made an offer for a house on mayland, 1 block south of E washington betweeon morton and baynton and after a bit of negotiation, there is an agreement. i'm a teeny bit nervous about the area, but it seemed nice when i was there and a friendly phillyblog member has checked it out for me too and gave it an a-okay. the house is very much what i was looking for.

i'm looking forward to being a germantown resident.

I noticed a really impressive rehab on Morton below Washington Lane - the guy seems to be building a whole new house and reusing only the front wall. That is a good sign.
