They've torn down the old gas station at that intersection and it also appears they're leveling the neglected houses as well. Out of curiosity I stopped and asked the workers what they were putting in....and the response was a CVS.

I'm all for progress, but why a CVS? There's already a CVS at Stenton & Washington, not to mention a Rite Aid at Crittenden & Washington...and at Tulpehocken and G'town Ave.

Is there some reason why we need to have so many drugstores? I'd almost rather have a fast food joint. (I said almost.)

Hopefully it will at least clean up that little pocket a bit. The shops across the street always seem a bit sketchy.
