This Saturday from 9 - Noon, a group of us will be organizing several flower beds in the courtyard of the Germantown Historical Society. The beds have not been worked in in a long time, so we will be taking out weeds and planting. There is one particularly long bed against a wall that should look terrific when we are done. Help with the beds and also donations of plant material including any perennials would be very welcome. It will also be fun to get to know some other gardeners.

If you love gardening and Germantown history you would be very welcome. Please private message me if you would like to participate so that we have an idea of how many may participate and how best to organize the tasks. It is our hope that we can begin building a new Germantown garden that will be fun to work in with others on an ongoing basis and a nice place to visit when visiting the Society.
