If so, which can you recommend for single persons? Which general dentists in NW Philly can you recommend for root canal, bridge replacement, teeth cleaning, etc.?

I didn't check the link - but if Delta Dental's on it, that's got a good reputation.

There have been at least 2 threads in the past year about dentists in the area, so I'd recommend searching for those here.

My dentist in Chestnut Hill recommended an endodontist, Dr. Allison Abbot, whose office is on 2050 Butler Pike, Ste. 300 (610-834-7770). Warning: it can take a while to get an appt. I waited too long (because the pain kept coming and going) and wound up having an emergency root canal with my dentist. Not a good idea. Therefore, I don't have personal experience with Dr. Abbot. I can't comment on the insurances. I would find a dentist I liked and see what insurances he/she accepted and how much coverage you have. I liked Delta Dental the best but now have Met Life high option, which isn't great because our dentists are all out of network.
