Some combination of squirrels, rabbits, voles and god knows what else are chewing up our lawn like crazy. There are holes, divots, bare patches and huge chunks that look like someone scraped the turf up with a spatula.

Anyone have any suggestions, either for home remedies or local service providers?

And please don't suggest getting a dog or cat; our allergies and asthma problems have eliminated that option.
