As one of the Origin Springs of the Wingohocking this means that it was probably considered a sacred site by Native Americans.
Ah. The good old Wingohocking Creek. It was the demise of my old neighborhood. The city filled it in with ash from the trash incinerators and it slowely washed away from below over the years, causing the houses to sink and collapse.

The area around 10th & Wyoming is now a waste land. I guess the Native Indians got back at us for violating their sacred grounds.

Default Sydney Street

Hi, my fiancee and I looked at a house for sale on Sydney Street recently and would like to know more about the neighborhood. I've read some of the posts, can someone give me an update on things? How is the construction coming along? It looks as though most of the major work is finished. Is there a neighborhood association in place, if so, what is the contact information? We know the general area very well. We love Mt. Airy. Thanks in advance!
