"Pardon my ignorance, but what is flatbread?"

We're actually going to offer thin-crust pizza. We use the term flatbread because while a lot of pizzerias give the toppings their attention, not many focus on the bread. Traditional neopolitan pizza makers use a cautious hand with the toppings - that's why everyone talks about the great crust.

I wish good luck to the new propriators.

Hopefully they will keep a tight rein on things and the new establishment will not deteriorate into a nuisance bar as all the previous occupiers over the last 20 years had done.

This will be good for McMenamins too.

Default Beer and Pizza

I hope there will be nice entree salads as well (something sorely lacking in the neighborhood).

Dude: Appreciate your concern, but this is a really stupid comment. I don't think it's possible, under any conditions, that a green, sustainable breadmaking and craft beer brewery could become a "nuisance bar."

I always love a good beer but am even more excited about a decent wine selection. We have found it very hard to find a nearby place with a good selection of wines by the glass.

Its confirm that a brewpub/ stone over pizza place run by Tom Baker of heavy weight is coming to the Angle sea.

This is great news... the Anglesea/O.B. (remember when it was that place?) venue is a great space. More choice beers AND wines is never a bad thing and to top it off- pizza (hopefully good pizza to address what I've always felt has been lacking in the area for a LONG time). Variety is the spice of life!

Another thing- if this the Heavyweight Brewery from North/Central Jersey who made all of those beers like Stick & Jab, Baltus and so on, then WOW! Those are some good beers and it's going to be a privilege to have them in the area.

That section of Mt. Airy is getting to be a place I want to hang out on a Friday or Saturday night as an alternative to going downtown...especially as I like to drink and the regional rail stops running so early, cabs cost an arm and a leg, and I don't feel like waiting at Broad and the other side of Forever for the 23 Bus late at night so...cool.
