We have used Appliance Wizard several times, and they have always been prompt, fair and reliable. And they have always been able to fix what needs fixing. Their prices seem reasonable as well. (Much better than Sears.) I believe they are located in the northeast, and their number is 215-342-2667.

Default Jasco Appliance Repair

JJ has worked on a number of my appliances and she's always been great -- been available when the fridge broke late on a friday, in fact she was at my house until very late last Thanksgiving Eve, to make sure I'd have a good holiday.

(And I have to admit, as a feminist I'm a thrilled to utilize a woman working in a 'man's field'.)

Default appliance repair

I had a good experience a couple years ago with Garthwaite Appliance Repair , 215.233.1397
He came as scheduled and repaired my washer and gave me information about how to know when it was beyond repair.

Thanks for the suggestion. I called all of the suggested repair services listed here, and the only one that agreed to come out and fix the problem within a couple days of my call was Appliance Wizard. They came to Mt. Airy (from the Northeast), showed up when they said they were going to, and fixed my dishwasher in a little over 30 minutes. They were honest, very professional and the repairman explained everything that he did. Plus, if I ever need to use them again, they gave me a $10 coupon on their next service call. I highly suggest Appliance Wizard (215-342-2667).

On the other hand, I would recommend against using Rush Appliance. They came out once, took 5 minutes to look at the dishwasher, diagnosed the problem (incorrectly) and said they couldn't fix it at that time and would have to come back at a later time to fix the dishwasher. They never showed up on the later date to fix the dishwasher, which lead me to call Appliance Wizard. It was a good thing Rush Appliance never showed up because Appliance Wizard fixed the problem for 1/3 of the price that Rush Appliance quoted me. Rush Appliance seemed very unprofessional and a little shady.

Default AJ Appliance

I had a GREAT experience with AJ Appliance. I had a 1951 Welbilt gas range that needed some work and no one else I called would even touch it. They not only came out and fixed my problem, but they were very reasonable as well.
