Default hotels, b&b

Hello! I have a friend coming in to visit and I'm looking for some nice, not too expensive hotels/inns or B&B's around/in West Mount Airy (not in the city). Something like the Chestnut Hill Hotel (http://www.chestnuthillhotel.com), but maybe a little less per night. I want something with a little charm, not a normal chain hotel kind of thing.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this is too far out, but I went up there to get the postcard I used for my article in the Chestnut Hill Local about the Depot restaurant.

http://www.josephamblerinn.com/

The Joseph Ambler Inn is run by Richie Allman, the previous owner of the Depot. It is maybe 20 minutes away, up 309 and when I went up there, I thought to myself, "If I have anyone coming to town who wants a place to stay, this place looks really neat" I even thought of bringing my wife up for a getaway weekend.

I am sure you can find something closer, but this is no that far and has a very New Hope feel to it.

Good luck!

Default B&Bs

There are lots of options on this website:

My in-laws have stayed at Anam Cara B&B in Chestnut Hill several times and have been very happy with it. I think it is a little less expensive than the Chesnut Hill Hotel.
