That's a nice area. I can't imagine any less than $250,000.

Default West Mt Airy

On the side of Lincoln Drive closer to the Co-op homes on Durham, Mt Airy, Ellet Street etc. will come up and have gone for in the low to mid 200's. You will often see some on the other side of Linclon Drive heading towards the Avenue for a little less. There are also condos on McCallum street in the mid 150's.

The smaller homes have appreciated at the same rate as the larger ones, but they have also been easier to sell in the last year or so when the market has shifted more towards the buyers favor. There is a larger pool of buyers for more affordable homes than higher priced ones and right now there are more homes for sale than buyers in general throughout the market. Houses in the 200-350K range, if priced accurately and showing well, have been selling much quicker in Mt Airy and Chestnut Hill, as an exception to the overall market.

If you would like me to email what is available and what has sold near the Co-Op, send me a PM, an email or give me a call.

Good luck in your search if I don't hear from you!

PS. Did you join the babysitting co-op?
