I'm moving to mount airy from powelton village (so excited! ) and i'm currently deciding between two apartments.

1) Sprague Court - 6600 Blakemore Street (which is sprague @ montana)

2) Woodbrook Lane - 7525 Devon Street (Roumfourt @ germantown ave)

Does anyone know anything about these apartment buildings or areas and can offer me any insight on which to consider? (both are the same price)

I grew up on Devon Street not too far from the 7500 block and I would say that that area is much nicer than down near sprague and montana. Those apartments are right on the border of Mt Airy and Chestnut Hill and you are tucked in the woods off of Cresheim Valley Drive (the Devon Street ones). The train station and the 23 bus are within 2 blocks, if you need them.

I would feel much safer there than in the other location, altough I don't know how nice the apartments are in one versus the other.
