Thought some people might find this interesting: Last Saturday, the Bob Brady convoy made its way down Germantown Ave., lights flashing, sirens blaring, vans, flatbeds, police cars, the whole nine yards.

As Bob was passing by on a big flatbed, I yelled out "Hey Bob! Give me a job!", and Bob Brady yelled back "Hey! Go **** Yourself"! (the word rhymed with "truck")

Not the kind of response you expect from a mayoral candidate.

A gifted orator he is not.

Why does he get compared to Frank Rizzo? This is so un-Rizzo-like. Brady couldn't carry Rizzo's dirty slippers in many regards.

Bob Brady comes off as an illiterate boor, I can't believe his "advisors" let him put those ads on TV where he's barely understandable. He slurs his words repeatedly, but I'm glad you were able to get his response to you "loud and clear." lol Frank Rizzo was a bit rough around the edges, but BB makes Rizzo look like a statesman!

Old Rizzo would never, ever have told someone to "eff off"...he would have sent someone to get that person's information and then they would have been contacted, and sure as the sun comes up again, that person could have had a job if he or she was serious about it.

I agree. I hated Rizzo when he was in office, but he sure would have handled it differently. He might have said or done something constructive, instead of cursing and laughing at me like Mr. Brady did. Has our city sunk so low?

Brady's get-out-the-vote operation on election day is likely to be far and away the best of any of the 5 Democratic candidates. I wouldn't be at all surprised to see him win, and perhaps even win easily.
