Okay, Mt. Airy Philly Bloggers... help.
I've put together a survey to try and figure out how to better serve the Mt. Airy public... But I need as many people as possible to fill it out. It's about movie content you watch, at home and in theaters. It's all to help me with my business plan, to figure out how to grow the film screenings we're doing at the Little Theater. It feels like everyone I know has asked about family films and particular programs, and... well I'm trying to figure it all out... so please please please fill out this quick 20 question survey and help me to understand what it is Mt. Airy wants... in the meantime, if you want a particular family film, I encourage you to visit the website, and submit those films and vote for those films on Film Q. Public - my way of getting your films on our screen! -David Titus Director, Films at the Sedgwick www.filmsatthesedgwick.com filmsatthesedgwick@gmail.com |

I already filled out the survey, but then I thought of another idea that I think would go over really well in Mt. Airy- Mommy and Me movies. These would be for stay at home parents and pre-crawling babies during the day. The movies would be for adults, but in an atmosphere where no one minds if babies cry, people tend to their babies, etc. There are theaters that offer this sort of thing all over the country, but none (to my knowledge) around here. This is great for parents who want something to do during the day, especially on a rainy or cold day when indoor options are limited. There are lots of parents home with babies around here. I, for one, would be a regular. A theater in CA that I used to go to also had a "baby brigade" one evening per week, same idea.
