Floor Refinishing & Electrical Upgrade
Hello all,
We're looking to have about 700sf of wood floors refinished and are looking for a few good floor refinishers to get quotes from. Does anyone have experience with someone they'd like to recommend? Or someone to stay away from? So far the only person I've had recommended to me is John Wissinger, he also had an ad in the Local. We also need to upgrade the service coming to the house from 60amp to 100amp and would like to find a good electrician to do the work. Another option
A good friend runs a floor finishing business, and he is very good... finished ours and it looks beautiful though it was the most difficult floor ever (with several decades of paint on it that gummed up when sanded... yikes). Rob Whitmire, 215-470-8406, rwhitmire@tafford.com.

Lee Rosenberg is great guy and a good electrician. He has referred me so good work too.

Dave Kline 215-768-9750. Very nice guy and a good electrician. He does a lot of work in the area and is also very reasonable.
I had John Wissinger do my floors five years ago and I was very pleased with his work and his price. Henry from Golden Bay Hardwood Floor Service also does nice work 215-927-7676

I had heard great things about John Wissinger too, but he promised to come look at my floors, never showed up, and never returned my calls. I was a bit surprised because he had such universal good reviews, but I suppose we all have the occasional crisis.
Glad to have a good electrician recommendation. I would not re-hire the person who updated my electrical work 2.5 years ago.

I refinish floors, and can probably beat most prices. I do floors for a company, but also work weekends on the side. PM me if interested.
