On the corner of Wayne and School House Lane? Not the modern high rise that is being renovated, but the brick one that is across School House.

The building is called the Fairfax. We have lived there the past four years. Just moved out in December after buying a house. This building is old (1910 I think) and has some amazing apartments inside. We had one of the big ones which was about 2500 sq. ft. We actually downsized when we bought a house.

Large units have four bedrooms, two full baths, living room, dining room, galley kitchen, sun room, pantry and some big-ass closets.

You would never know from outside. Our jaws dropped the first time we saw the apartment.

Sounds wonderful! Is there a reasonable turnover or people entrenched? What is the price spectrum and do you have the number to the leasing office?

Turnover is fairly low but steady. We lived there four years. We had the same neighbors next store the whole time and someone across the hall lived there 8 years before moving out. You do get some students living there short time but more families and adults.

The rent was very reasonable (IMO), especially compared to places like Alden Park. There is no leasing office I am aware of. Owners are local. Contact me directly and I will send you contact information.
