So, you want the employee to take on two other people's jobs? That could create a lot of responsibility on one employee. Which will lead to:
less productivity
more errors
disgruntled employees and high turnaround
Another question is: are you going to pay these people more money, if they have more responsibility?
Bensalemballard, I think your intentions are good, but the working world doesn't work that way. Whether it be city employees or non city employees.
