He's a sick freak and he should get the same punishment as that murderer, O.J.

Yeah, Gekko,I am wondering the same thing. He just used words like "flirtatious" and "improper". This doesn't have to mean "adulterous". I can't imagine that Dawn would stay with him and have another child with him if that were the case. But in this crazy world, who knows?

Criminal is the only relevant word here. Alicia may have done some dumb things, but Larry is the one who actually broke the law in an attempt to bring her down.

You will notice, however, that Dawn is not here with me today at this podium. She wanted to be, but I asked her not to.
She was busy having lunch with Bolaris anyway.

Yeah in any normal company, you install a keylogger on a coworker's computer--you're fired.

At a larger, publicly traded company---then they also sic lawyers on you and call the feds so they have a happy show to watch while they eat dinner in the executive lunch room.

Hmm am I supposed to feel sorry for Mendte?

So Alicia was a little bit of a conniving, flirtatious slut (according to Larry, but I'm inclined to believe Larry cuz after all, she DID hook up with Chris Booker. That was a BAD move) who was trying to use her rack to get ahead. I've dealt with that kind before.

You just ignore them, because they tend to fall in their face on their own since their decision making skills are usually about borderline retarded.

Couldn't agree with ya more.

Poor Alicia wasn't smart enough to figger out her email was being snooped and then scooped.

If I had suspicions, I would have called a friend of mine at another station [come on, Alicia's got friends], explain privately what I think is going on, then ask them to send a fake email and see if it gets leaked---and I'd craft an email that's so juicy the reader can't help but leak it, but not so out of touch that it's obvious that it is fake and easily refutable---something that would spawn a lawyer to investigate where the leak came from....

If I suspected it was Larry reading my email, I would have had someone send me an email during the day claiming they saw Dawn eating dinner downtown with (insert half-way decent Philly TV media type here), and then insert a few jabs about Larry not keeping her woman at the end. That would be more than enough to drive a paranoid type like Larry Mendte into a rage.

I think striking a police officer is criminal...and yes I do believe that she did the things she was accused of ...she is a troublemaker and LOVES the spotlight.

I agree. Also, in the news footage of Larry and Dawn leaving the court house yesterday, Dawn looked pissed and Larry was walking like he wasn't even with her. If she was "standing by her man" I think they would have at least been walking side by side or holding hands. I think it is just a matter of time before Dawn throws him out, or takes the kids and leaves. IMO Mendte is a has been scum bag loser with a huge ego. I don't know what Dawn ever saw in him in the first place.

But that has been dealt with by New York already. What Mendte did is a far more serious crime in the eyes of the feds. Just because Alicia did stupid things, that doesn't make his crime any less serious.
