We considered having our wedding there several years ago as it is only a few blocks from our house. We ended up at the Ritz though....at the time, the price difference was less than $10 a person once you considered taxes and gratuities....and hey, its the Ritz!

Call the Hyatt, tell them you are considering having your wedding there, they'll show the rooms they have and also treat you to dinner in their restaurant to sample the food. The rooms do have a nice view of the river, but it also depends on the number of guests you will have.

we are getting married there in july

we have about 110 guests so we are using the Riverview room ... one side is entirely windows overlooking the river and the view especially at night is awesome ....

they had us down for dinner one night ...and also we had the tasting where we got to sample 3 salads ..4 entrees ..and 3 desserts ... the food was great ...hopefully its the same when they are cooking for 110 and not just 4

our co-ordinator at the hyatt has been responsive to any calls/emails we have sent her ..

for now i am happy with our choice .... if you have any specific questions..let me know

My brother-in-law chose that place to marry his sweetheart of 15years. Overall, nice place. He got divorced a year later, but the wedding was decent.

Don't know about weddings, but I met my Fiancees father there a few months ago (not the first meeting, just in town for a few nights) and got ripped at the bar with him. It happened to be the night American Idol was there doing the final Philly tryouts, so we sat at the bar and watched the rejects come in all depressed after they got shot down. So what I'm saying is, the bar is really nice.
