NY investors on their way to Philly 5/31
It's bus trips like this (and there are many more) that bring the NY'ers down to Philly to look at rental properties. Once they've toured North Philly and SW Philly and realize the rehabs and neighborhoods are not worth it, they come back and tour Lower NE. I actually saw one of these buses a while back.

Do you REALLY think that their going ot run a bus trip like this on Memorial Day Weekend?
I'd LOVE to know more about this ! If I sawe this bus rolling onto my street, it wouldn't exactly be a welcoming comittee.

Several years ago, when the house next door to me was up for sale, I made every effort to be out front when prospects came looking. I made sure to let them know what their prospective neighbors expected of absentee owners. They all moved on to other properties and I ended up with a neighbor who is an owner who lives in the property. This is what you have to resort to when you choose to stay in your home instead of being run out of town.

She said that they are not coming to Tacony, Mayfair, & Holmesburg said she does work with Frankford, she said they are working to provide a gateway to homeownership. I told her under NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO WE WANT ANYMORE NYC INVESTORS IN OUR NEIGHBORHOOD, I told her about my petition and the response I have received from other NYC landlords like deaf silence because they DO NOT RESPOND!!! I told her if we see a TOUR BUS we will be out in force with signs and BULL HORNS TO GO HOME!!!!!
She said she wants to get together to discuss what they are doing I told our Civic is working with HAPCO, and while we understand her desire to turn blited neighborhoods around we do not think NYC Investors are doing a GOOD JOB, infact we KNOW ALOT OF the issues are BECAUSE of the RENTERS!!
