Fox started showing that late last night or early this morning. Both mothers were interviewed for the 5PM newscast. One said: "how can you do that to a teenager?" Uhh, reality check Mom..."WTF was your 'teenager' doing in a car that was just involved in shooting three others?" I think a fair number of people aren't too upset about this, and might want to get a kick in themselves out of sheer frustration.

They weren't beat hard enough, because apparently they don't understand.

I hear ya, the cops have to do it because the parents never did! I don't think you can blame the cops for being a little extra agressive these days.

The suspects resisted and were subdued by the police. Complying with instructions while you're being arrested isn't optional.
If you resist, force will be used against you. That's the law. The police may use any force reasonably necessary to effect the arrest. If they have to punch, strike and kick you to make you comply, well you get punched, hit and kicked. Don't want to get beat on, don't resist. Simple as that. I looked at the footage carefully and while it's hard to see, to the best I can see striking the suspects stopped even before the cuffs were on, and there were no strikes once the cuffs were on and the people secured. That's not bad. It's actually pretty good. Seems to me they did what they had to to make the thugs comply and then stopped the application of force when it was no longer necessary. What more do people want?

I think it's better to actually, you know, link to the video, so people can make their own judgement.
http://www.myfoxphilly.com/myfox/MyF...1&locale=EN-US Now, nothing I haven't seen on Cops after a police chase, maybe a couple of kicks or two that were overdone, but it wasn't anything different then normal action.* *Well outside the fact that other departments have tazers now....

Ok, thanks for the link, just watched it... it does seem an extra kick or two, and dragging the guy across the street after the cuffs were on may have been a bit much, BUT as mentioned, they keep kicking the one guy because they can't get the cuffs on him, as soon as the arms seemed to be cuffed, they stop. They were shooting supects, what, a day or two after a cop was just shot, so the cops are going to be a bit more deffensive, and rightfully so I think. I'm the first to agree with Too much force, in this case, I don't think it was used.
