BTW... I hope they catch Eric Floyd and fry his punk ass!!!!!!!

I was actually just being a smart ass. The sintax of Hospitality Girl's sentence was a little funny -- it made it sound like the car did the shooting.

There's no question these guys were involved.

Did the shooting occur the night before? I know someone named Andrew Coach died. And they observed the scene the following day and saw meeting gathered together... then a shooting errupted.

15 shell casing.... 1 gun.

maybe they played pass the potato..i don't know.

But what i do know is that not one single firearm was recovered on the 3 perps.

Go figure.

The questions you are asking are irrelevant. Under all of your scenerios the cops had reason to stop them. Once that happens, do as you're told and resist at your peril. If it turns out there was some mistake and you shouldn't have been stopped, figure all that out in court later.

Might people resisting try to injure or kill a cop? Yup. How do you try to reduce the risk: use whatever force is necessary to overcome the resistance. This isn't a TV boxing match. The cops reasonably believe they are in a fight for their lives every time they have to encounter resisting scuzzballs like these three pukes. There is no law that requires "gentle" force or a fair fight. The law allows the use of whatever force is necessary to effect the arrest.

Whether weapons were found on them after the fact remains irrelevant. Unless the cops have x-ray vision and can see that ahead of time, the assumption must be made that they could, and be treated accordingly.

Repeat after me: do not resist and you won't get beat. When a cop wants to get the cuffs on, don't struggle and make them make you comply.

Here, watch these simple instructions that will help you understand: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uj0mtxXEGE8

Not so sure that it's ALL of the streets in Philadelphia.

Again, it's just how some people think.
Amadou Diallou, Sean Bell and Rodney King did NOT happen in Philadelphia. I repeat, those did not happen in Philadelphia. Two were in NYC, one was in LA.

As for the 39th, people didn't have their butts kicked up one side and down the other.

As for Sean Bell, unfortunate, but as has been repeated here, you run over a cop, back up into him to run over him again, and WTF do you expect to happen? Do you want the cops to give them lattes? Be serious, and people will take you seriously.

Philadelphia Police Beating

Although I know this happened on the heels of Officer Liczbinski's murder, there is absolutely NO excuse for this; I believe there are proper procedures in place when addressing a 'suspected" gun shooter. They resisted? Really... 18-20 cops and they resisted?

Here's my question: if they believed these guys were indeed involved with a shooting, why didn't they approach the car more cautiously instead of direct and full of rage? I saw maybe one or 2 out of the 18+ approach the car w/ caution.

I mean, if I suspected these guys of shooting someone, I would NOT just run up on them like that. I would definitly proceed w/ caution.

BTW... the police recovered ZERO guns.

hmmmmm.. something sounds fishy. I hope the new police commissioner does a thorough investigation.

Man.. I thought Rodney King had it rough.

Welcome to Philly.
LOL I could care less about excessive force being taken out on shooting suspects resisting arrests after fleeing officers. Nonetheless, this wasn't excessive - the cops kicked their heads in until the thugs stopped struggling, then they cuffed them. Nothing wrong w/ that.

The officers could've tasered them for 20 minutes straight and pissed on them to extinquish the sizzle, and I wouldn't have been any more indifferent. There are a lot of causes worth taking up, but the human rights of thugs aren't one of them. The whole time I was watching that video, I was hoping to see them let the german shepards have a go.

Damn right, "Welcome to Philly." You're in the wrong place if you're looking for sympathizers for thugs. We're fed up.
