Kicking is not part of police training...especially handcuffed suspects.
What you have is punks with badges getting in some petty licks. Dare I inject race? We all know some white folks will do anything they can to sneak a jab in on a minority and this doesn't just apply to police. Racism is as american as american pie. Far as I am concerned they need to get their heads outta their butts, they're a black mark on the entire police dept and the cops that actually understand what being a police officer is all about. Lead by example, don't be an example of poor leadership. Thumbs down Philly p.d. and thumbs down Mayor Nutter. Lets exercise some integrity. One last question before i end this diatribe, when's the last time we saw some black cops whipping up on some white handcuffed suspects? hmmmm...haven't and never will.

funny, cause to me it looked like the guys where scared sh!less and where in defense mode, sheilding themselves and not resisting arrest. if i was in that car and i saw my buddies being treated like that i would sure not be willing to get out of the car and get a serious ass woopin'. one guy gets cuffed and is still being kicked and dragged. it was wrong regardless of what happened.

Well they stopped once they were in handcuffs, but to be honest, yes. If thugs get beaten into a coma by police, I would probably laugh. Their human rights are not important to me whatsoever. They have none.

Don't equate thugs to rabid dogs. That's an insult to all rabid dogs. Dogs have more rights than thugs b/c they offer more to society and mankind in general.

Maybe thugs should be fed to rabid dogs though. That's not a bad idea.

Believe it or not, this story has now made international headlines. It was picked up by the BBC and some other outlets in Europe.

No one should rush to judge these officers. In light of the fact that officers witnessed gun shots coming from that vehicle just a few minutes earlier, I guarantee there was some very real fear in the hearts of those officers as they approached the vehicle. I bet everyone one of them was thinking that they themselves could be killed in the next few minutes. That fear and tension was further exacerbated by the events of the past week. I don't know if these officers followed protocol or not. Who cares. Let's remember who these "victims" are. They are not choir boys. They are certainly not innocent teens on their way home from a prayer service as one of the mother's claims. They are murderers. One of the mothers had the nerve to call the police officers "criminals".

The media in this generation will stop at nothing to make every criminal look like a victim.

In the last month, there was a woman who was gang raped by three black males in my neighborhood. The news wouldn't report one bit of it. Our society has become so backward that victims of truly horriffic crimes are not news worthy, but when a few murderers take a couple lumps while they are arrested, that becomes an international scandal. Sharpton will be all over this as soon as he's done with his other criminal of the week - Sean Bell.

Little weak people identify w/ the weak while showing disdain for the powerful.

Carnegie Mellon University in about 1999. Kid ended up in a coma thanks to a flashlight beating. Saw it happen myself. And he was no thug. He was a science dork who wouldn't disperse. EDIT: He wasn't handcuffed at the time.
