Has anyone heard of this Kidd Chris guy on WYSP. Apparently he's doing this "Gay Challenge" where he sends a group of straight guys into gay bars to stir up $hit, get it on camera, then post it on the WYSP website.

Most of the gay guys I know are more than capable of handling that kind of situation. I wouldn't worry about it.

I don't listen his show, preston&steve are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better and funnier.

Only listened to his show once for about 15 minutes and was so disgusted at it (really offensive, like 12 year old humor stuff).

Yea your right, Preston and Steves conversations about why woman get upset at mens sock drawers and why Steve's parents named him Steve are absolutly HILARIOUS!!!!!

I laughed out loud so hard I literally said "Gadzooks!!!" Isn't there a number I can call and kiss their ass and they will play it on the air to make sure everyone knows how awesome they are?



Anyway, the contest is not to "stir up ****". Its to see if they can get a guy to make out with them on camera. Homophobic? yes, but they are not trying to make a scene.

I found Kidd Chris funny when he was on in the afternoon, but moving to the mornings was a death sentence, wether you like Preston and Steve or not (I do... also worked with them at Y100 for a while, so maybe I'm biased) they are a powerhouse in the city and have been #1 for years now, and make the tons of money to prove it. I find some of the stuff Kidd Chris does very funny, nothing offends me... I AM a Stern fan after all... but lately it's all inside stuff, like if I miss a few shows, or even an hour... I'm LOST as to what the jokes mean!
But I didn't find anything wrong with the gay challenge, saw some of the pictures on the site, was disturbed and entertained all at the same time!

This is why I only listen to NPR and podcasts.

the kidd chris show sucks.

they spend half their time making fun of wmmr, saying things like "preston was molested, otherwise how could he have a name like that." or "pierre robert is gay."

instead of coming up with their own material, humor, etc. they rely on making fun of the much better station, with much better djs.

i refuse to listen to WYSP because of this.
