Preston and Steve both make somewhere in the $300's... I would think casey boy probably gets about half of that, and the rest of the show probably just under $100,000... but those are all speculation, except the preston and steve income.

I worked with them at Y100 for a couple years, did an overnight shift on Sunday nights, so I would be the lead in to their show, really nice guys. I, of course, was making about $9 an hour...heh heh, and had to deal with Bolaris on the phone every morning... that alone was worth a raise!

So why do you listen to them? That's one thing I never got with the whole Stern thing. People had such negative **** to say about him, yet they could give play by play of the show...

I think Steve is funny. It's usually his one liners. But like the rest of them (Preston, Kathy & Caseyboy), they annoy me at times. Not Nick, though. Maybe he's too quiet or something.

We have apples and oranges for a reason... chocolate & vanilla for a reason... everyone has different tastes. That doesn't mean that one thing sucks over the other.

I will say one thing, though.. I do avoid most of their get togethers.. the drunken idiots that surface... ugh!

On my drive to work, I usually flip between P&S and KYW.

Sample some of the morning crews around the country and you'll start to be thankful that we have P&S. When I was in Portland, I had the misfortune of listening to a couple of guys that went by the names "Dr. Doug and Skippy". Worst. Show. EVER.

Ditto goes for the WYSP haters. I know this racist song was over the line...even my eyes opened wide when I heard it, and I'll listen to just about any garbage and be able to find humor in it. I've listened to Kidd Chris, Howard and O&A for years...you know exactly what each one represents and what their material consists of...why bother listening when you know what you're going to get?

Regardless, it will continue and people will cry about words they hear.

I remember the first time someone said something vulgar about my parents. I was a little kid, it upset me and I told them about it.

I got in trouble for being a whiner.


Grow up America...they're just words. If they're such inconsequential nobodies saying these things, than don't give them the exposure they were in it for to begin with.
