No, most straight people know of only one place... Woody's... mostly because it sticks out like a sore thumb off Walnut.
And the last two photos that were posted (censored), that's in the main bar's bathroom and those guys definitely darted in there to do that before the bar staff found out. Funny how all the pasty-white person who was standing could do was present a flaccid member to the straight guy. Goes to show drunk people do dumb things. While various levels of undress are permitted at the Bike Stop (usually those who are doing it SHOULD NEVER be doing it, ugh)... exposing the jewels gets you tossed from the bar, or any gay bar, really. Sames goes for PDA involving grabbing stuff you shouldn't be grabbing out in the open. The bar staff doesn't tolerate it, and customers shouldn't have to either. While it's all done in fun and it can be hot, you dunno if someone's ex is in the bar and sees this goes on--and a shiitfest breaks out. On top of this, it's illegal and the liquor license of the establishment can be put in jeopardy. This isn't Montreal here and there is an indecency ordinance. If you want to drink liquor naked, go to Montreal. It's anything-goes up there. Most gay people in Philly I've found look a lot better with their clothes ON. ***It's not worth the trouble when there's a gay bathhouse a block away (Club Body Center). Now if they can get a straight guy to go to a gay bathhouse... THEN I will be impressed. But oh well, this is Kidd Chris we're talking about. His show is damn funny, though. Maybe he'll send a hot straight guy instead of a couch potatos next time. *** Go ahead, bash me all you want. I don't f___in' care. You know it's true. well,
it looks like he's already over, but not based on any gay-related activity. http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/p...rody_song.html I liked the show when it first started (in 05?) but I started to lose interest when the Pittsburg syndication thing failed misreably. The move to the AM was just terrible too, especially when they seemed to have more music and ads than actually content.

LOL in all seriousness, that's kinda funny... as long as it's innocent. But if he sends a bunch of dudes in there who are going to start throwing slurs around, he should be held accountable, as should the station.

and every black radio station goes on tirades every day. It's so one sided. I listen(ed) to them for years. 99, 103, I like rap... but every day it would piss me off that they would do the same things white people get fired for. Especially when dealing with mexicans..asians. Only white people get in trouble for racial stuff... ever it seems. Oh.. and I'd have to fire Kid Chriss for this.

But trying to rally a bunch of straight brothers to go into a gay club will set a new bar for the phrase "an exersize in futility." I buddy around w/ a bunch of black guys, and they're so overly homophobic I won't even reveal to them I have a gay brother. They're polite and respectful enough that they'd watch the anti-gay stuff around me, but their previous anti-gay slurs would create obvious tension. Come to think of it, that's maybe the only un-PC thing that seems to be OK to say about blacks - they really hate gays, and I mean REALLY hate gays. Like, a shitload. |
