Mail order prescriptions - envelope completely ripped open
Here's my story...
I live in an apartment building in the Roxborough/Manayunk area. I recently ordered some mail order prescriptions, and the envelope was left on the floor by everyone's mailboxes. It is a bubble-padded envelope. It could not have been sitting there for more than 4-6 hours.
I picked up the envelope and noticed that the end of the envelope was COMPLETELY ripped open. A bigger rip than any mail-sorting machine would cause. Nothing is missing, but there's still a chance the prescriptions were tampered with.
I already called up the mail order pharmacy and they are replacing the prescriptions at no cost. I'm not taking any chances with some jerk messing with my pills.
Even though the envelope had no marking on it saying they were prescriptions, my opinion is that some low-life druggy wanted to see if there was anything good in there (which there wasn't).
Any opinions? Has this ever happened to you?
