Walt. If you assault me on the street with that megaphone, you'll need a surgeon to have it removed.

Deep down, you do realize that you will lose this battle.....right? If you were looking to join Larry West as a Phillyblog legend, thats cool...you are almost there. Otherwise, no one has ever heard of ya. Without PB you would have 5 votes on your poll.

Would it not have been better to said 'left my job' then?
and perhaps look like less of a nut job?
Most people 'lose' thing involuntarily. Jobs, keys, mind....

That video is the most depressing thing I've seen in weeks.

Slightly pudgy, divorced, jobless man eats cheesteak by himself during the day, then goes home to cook soup for one in his little kitchen, then takes to the basement to smash things.

I think this whole campaign is a cry for help.

Actually, it's almost the exact opposite of Hannibal Lecter. He was suave and sophisticated.

Don't be too hard on the guy. He sees something which he takes seriously: Philadelphia history and culture; trivialized by a bunch of schlockey a-holes trying to make a buck. Its a probably a shame he's taking it to the degree he is, and he really needs to lose the megaphone, but his heart is in the right place.

I'm not trying to be a jerk. I really feel for him. I think he needs more companionship. He's hungry for human connection, and has a lot of pent-up rage about the ways life has wronged him, which are manifesting themselves in a) aggressive behavior (smashing things, yelling at people), b) almost incomprehensible anger over something as trivial as a tour bus/boat, and c) a longing for connection ("I check the blog frequently to see if there are new comments," etc.).

Maybe he should come to the next PB happy hour.

I wasn't singling you out, and I agree, the documentary was depressing, which I think was the goal of the film-makers. Which is why I thought it was really well done. I don't think their goal was to show that the Ducks are bad, even if the Ducks are bad.

Well does the film finally convince anyone that the Mighty Ducks cheated when they used the flying V maneuver across the blue line? There is no way a move like that can be completed without the center carrying the puck into the Hawks zone. If you look closely, its the right wing carrying the puck over the line, and the center only recieves the puck after about 5 yards past the blue line. THATS OFFSIDES!!! The Hawks should be rightfull champions, if you don't believe me watch the video.

You go Walt!!!

Screw the Ducks, Bring the title back to the Hawks!!!!
