I'm all for it. It'll be the first time in a long while we had snow on the ground for a holiday that has a song called"White Christmas"

Little do you know, the bus that goes to manayunk/roxborough stops a block from my house.
Yeah, but from the 32 to my house is about 3/4 of a mile, all downhill. Bring your sled!

Well, they said that the sleet would hold off until after the morning rush. Here I am in my office at 8:30 and sleet is bouncing off my windows. Hope everyone made it in OK.

I am dreading my commute home today.... I don't know what's worse: the people who hog the left lane and cut their speed in half at the first hint of precipitation, or the people who ignore the weather altogether and pass the slowpokes on the right, going 90. Either way, the combination of the two groups is a nightmare on I95.

And from the 61? (I live a block off Ridge Ave.)

And I made it in fine to work. Thanks for the community concern.

Ah, from the 61 you'll need spikes. About the same distance, but a much steeper hill.

Only a total wussie would call this little rain a winter storm. Move somewhere in this country where it really storms during the Winter. Out of anywhere in the Northeast or Midwest, Philadelphia has the most mild Winters yet I've never seen such a group of Winter wussies and complainers.

Made the commute fine today.

I wore my pink fuzzy bunny slipper, just in case.
