Shut the Duck UP!
Hello fellow philadelphians,
Walt Sherman here. I recently started a campaign against the duck tours in Philadelphia and i wanted to tell you about it: The duck boats are incredibly annoying. They purposefuly blast loud music and taunt Philly residents with their “quackers” just so they can earn money. Its time they learned to respect the residents of this city! My campaign is called Shut the Duck Up! and its going to be BIG! I’ve been blogging pretty steadily at shuttheduckup.blogspot.com and a video of me made by some Drexel students should be going on Utube soon. Yes, let's alienate the tourists who want to do silly, albeit annoying (but very benign) touristy things. Philly's doing so well that we don't need them anymore...

I don't see why you have to be so sarcastic. A ton of people are annoyed by the duck boats in this city. I get tons of positive support when I go out and protest. You should support your fellow philadelphians instead of supporting a tourist group that doesnt care about the city at all!

Im not asking to alienate the tourists, I'm just asking that the duck tours respect philadelphians and don't taunt them and bother them with loud music. Is that so much to ask?
