So YOU think they are trying to annoy YOU. Again, I refer YOU back to the post suggesting psychiatric help. The duck tours are not out to get YOU. The music and quackers were not designed to cause YOU pain. The drivers and tourists are having fun acting silly on a boat/bus. YOU are letting it bother YOU. As for it being LOUD. Give me a break. Hang out at Front and South for 5 minutes on a Saturday afternoon and listen to the bikes zooming by. Then you'll know what LOUD is.

Are you guys that emotionally unstable that a plastic quacker and the YMCA is enough to push you over the edge? If so you have WAAAAAY bigger problems than duck buses. Do you guys wear aluminum foil hats and cover all the windows while you are home???

If its bothering me its bothering me...

can i just say YOU'RE letting my posts bother YOU and that YOU shouldn't complain and so YOU should get help from a psychiatrist? No...if something bothers YOU then YOU can't help it. The ducks bother ME: quit your criticism!

There is a difference between being annoyed by something....and thinking that the duck tours are INTENTIONALLY TRYING to annoy YOU.

For example....I am annoyed by your 'fight', but I am not cuckoo enough to think that you are posting, creating websites, and trying to hold rallys to annoy me. Those are the thoughts of a paranoid person.

Being annoyed is normal.
Thinking the duck tours are trying to annoy you is not normal.

The motorcycles that run the length of South Street, from 10th, east to Front, annoy the living daylights out of me, with their constant revving and setting off of car alarms, but they aren't doing it to intentionally annoy ME. Likewise, the cars that roll along under my windows, with their extremely loud radios and thumping bass, and awaken my sleeping husband in the night, aren't doing it specifically to annoy HIM, but they do. I have come to really not mind the quacking of a few duckbills during the day. I suppose it's all relative, really.

I love that this is one of the most popular topics on the whole site.

Very telling.

??????

You're not looking that closely then. Look at any of the dog threads in any of the forums...twice as long as this.

Well, here's the thing. We all fight and bicker with each other a lot, so every now and then, when some rube stumbles in with a truly idiotic idea, it's a fun community-building project for all of us to gang up on him or her. It's good for general morale.
