Sunday School would have been fun, better then going to Mass twice a week in grade school, and sometimes more, when it was the first Friday.

I suppose to some, but to me it was just common sense.

Actually, I have no idea. But I desperately hope it has something to do with revealing pictures of Aunt Fritzi.

Amen! Any homeowner who doesn't value and respect those trained and skilled in the crafts of plumbing, electrical work, etc. is a fool.
Honorable professions and generally quite worthy of the income they receive.

Nothing really that exotic. I don't know if it still holds true, but years ago, before the legal lottery, and people would play the "number", many people would buy the Daily News for the Nancy comic street, because they thought that the days number would be in the strip in some hidden way. Something along the lines of dream books that were sold, and maybe still are.

Oh well...
One of my favorite images is of Homer Simpson sitting up in bed with a pair of librarian glasses reading a book called "Lucky Lottery Numbers"
Probably why I've never played the number.
