My avatar is the Simpsons rendition of myself. Unfortunately, I couldn't think of anything more clever at the time.

My posting name is a shortening of my actual name, which is a long, complicated series of double letters that defies my every attempt to turn it into a catchy email address. Can't say I put much thought into it at the time I registered because I figured I'd just be asking for apartment advice... but now I'm hooked. I have to go to PB happy hours and try to pronounce this handle, and no one understands what I'm saying.

The avatar is a section of a wooden sculpture that I made years ago. I like it because it's calming; the colors and the sweeping lines remind me of the ocean, I think.

People know what to call you at HH. Not to worry. But, your avatar always reminded me of the side of a cello. Smooth, gleaming wood; curved lines.

A brown ocean? That kinda makes me uneasy. I'm gonna go with that cello thing that HG mentioned.
