I'm not making any assumptions about you, but both that I know are gay. And they both said that there were just not enough hot gay guys in Texas
i don't see anything wrong with being gay. whatever floats peoples boats really......personally i think texas could probably really use a few more straight hot guys!

We nearly moved to Austin recently. Housing is cheaper and you can climb and mtn bike pretty much year round................And your right about being landlocked. There ain't nothing around Austin. Also Sandra Bullock lives there. That is enough to make me stay away. Your not Sandra Bullock are you?
anyway i don't know how much cheaper housing is...you can rent in a surrounding downtown neighborhood (maybe 5-10 minute away) for about $1200 a month for a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom home. Most nicer one bedroom apts far away from the center of the city (about 15-20 minutes) run around $700-$800. I mean you can find super cheap too but you are definitely paying the price for lack of convenience and quality of living for sure. I have a feeling I am going to think Philly is cheap because I am use to paying an arm and leg for something decent in this city.

As for climbing...there are tons of places in the greenbelt to climb and that's awesome. I did that all last summer.

Speak of Sandra Bullock.....I saw her house the other day on my way to the lake...cause yes in Texas you can cruise the lake in a boat in January and be just fine... .... by the looks of this home....she is super filthy sticking rich...must be nice.

700 people to clean up the Linc tomorrow.

Wouldn't it be nice if some business would hire 700 people to clean up, say, Chelten and Germantown.

Our priorities are a bit skewed.

And what's wrong with Chelten and Germantown?

Getting provincial on us, syc.

I'd just say that despite the fact that it has one of my favorite dollar stores in that wonderful building on the corner that it needs some work.

To be polite, very polite . . .it could use some work.

It's a pretty decent area, though that particular building could definitely use some help.

I used to change buses there every day . . . and it is usually in need of cleaning, etc.

But, we can change the 700 and send them to somewhere else . . . Sean's block, maybe. Maybe the City Hall septa station.

I just see a bit of irony in the fact that we (someone) can pay 700 people to remove the snow (which is necessary); but no one can pay for cleaning Septa City Hall.

Yeah, NBC10 is hyping it a lot -- the only thing they can do to try to win viewers.

On Monday, NBC10 did a special feature on snow, and had a live feed of an Inky reporter discussing a story she did on snow and sound. Dawn Fallik did an interesting story, which can be found at: http://www.philly.com/mld/inquirer/n...l/10957930.htm
