I hope "aggressively targeting illegal firearms" means STOP AND FRISK.
If they start enforcing traffic laws too they are going to find an awful lot of illegal firearms as well...and if the carrier has a record they can get turned right over to the feds. |

"They" have been talking about bringing state police into Philly for a few months. I thought that the original plan (and the sensible one) was to have the state troopers takeover the duties of the Phila Police Highway Patrol on roads like 95 and 76, and move those officers into the city streets.
