Don't lose sight of the fact that all 3,791 of the deceased VOLUNTEERED to join the armed forces and most military personnel believe in what they are fighting for. I hate to see one good, American soldier killed, but there are many more muslims being killed (which is a good thing, IMO) by the American soldier than there are Americans being killed by muslims.

A very small drop in the bucket. My guess is that this is more about a dog and pony show or some grant money that someone got. If they really wanted to make an impact, they should have just "allowed" the whole Troop to add certain parts of the City to their patrol area. But that would make sense, so it won't happen.

I certainly don't hate white american men. I am married to one. My beloved brothers and father are. But they never drove a truck full of explosives into a building filled with children. So it would be wrong to tar them with the same brush as an animal like McVeigh. As it would be to tar all Muslims with the same brush as the reprehensible Osma Bin Ladin and his ilk.
