Default What do you want from us??????

Hey Everyone, Jen and I are sitting here in my office and we are finally ready to make some investments back into building the site, so we've allocated a budget for a new site design, but what other things can we do to improve this place??

We were thinking about everything from PB only scavenger hunts to photo and video contests of what you love about Philly.

Please give us your thoughts! We're all ears.

Would it be possible to have the individual profile pages turned into a personal homepage with blog (quasi-myspace, but professional)?

I think you should have more polls to gauge the opinions of the Phillyblog community. And hosts guests on the blog from time to time, such as the mayor, community organizers and such.

A marketing coordinator that sets up guest chats would be nice. We could rotate through the areas and allow representatives or business owners to answer questions and discuss strategies. It would make for great advertising and community involvement.

I would also include more meetup events and photos from said events. I want to see who the numbnuts are that insult me. We could alleviate some of this with the homepages, but pics of the meetups would spur continuous involvement and we could even set goals.

I would really love a Home Improvement section. Many of my posts are related to that and this is where I turn to for questions on drywall, brick masonry, through the wall air conditioners, popcorn ceilings, etc.

And it seems that many people are initially drawn to this site because looking for homes.

Thx!
